Alexandra-Maria-Lara

Alexandra Maria Lara (born in Romania) is a Romanian actor and TV host. She's best known as the star of Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control as well as Rush. She was the sole child of Romanian actress Valentin Platareu. Alexandra started her career in show business from a young age. By the time she turned 16years old, Alexandra was able to land the leading roles in numerous TV dramas. In the Oscar nominated film Downfall her character as Secretary Traudljunge, Adolf Hitler's secretary was also a critically-acclaimed one. The Reader, Der Baader Meinhof Komplex and The Reader are also Oscar-nominated films starring this stunning diva. Alexandra worked on several significant international and national productions throughout her career. They include the British biographical film Control Greek drama film The Dust of Time as well as the French historical mini-series Napoleon and many more. Also, she was on the jury of the Transylvania International Film Festival, as well as at the Cannes Film Festival.
